February 18, 2021 – Los Angeles, CA – Ginga Atlanta's Alberto Ciroi has been selected UPSL National Player of the Week.

A native of Udine, Italy, Ciroi made two saves - including a penalty stop - in a 1-0 victory in a UPSL 2020 Fall Season Southeast Region Final on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021. Ciroi played 90 minutes as Ginga Atlanta (19-0-0 overall) maintained its perfect record.

Ciroi is the first ever three-time winner of the UPSL Player of the Week award. This is the seventh time a Ginga Atlanta player has won the weekly vote this season. 

A member of the 2018 Baker University National Junior College National Championship team, Ciroi previously played for Duluth FC (NPSL), and was the 2019 Sun Belt Tournament Most Outstanding Player last season as a member of the Coastal Carolina University (NCAA) team.

The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL, and decided by the fans via Twitter poll..
