February 12, 2021 – Los Angeles, CA – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is pleased to announce WTX Arsenal SC as its newest expansion club ahead of the Spring Season.

Based in Odessa, TX, WTX Arsenal SC will begin UPSL play in the Southwest Conference West Texas Division. The club will host its games at the University of Texas-Permian Basin Park (UTPB Park Drive, Odessa TX 79762).

Victor Domingues is Owner and Head Coach of WTX Arsenal SC.

UPSL West Texas Division Manager Raul Ruiz said, "Victor is an outstanding coach and quickly establishing the level of commitment to the game that he wants to see develop in Odessa. We're excited to have West Texas Arsenal Soccer Club on board as we continue to solidify the West Texas Division for years to come."

A native of Brazil, Domingues currently serves as the Interim Head Coach of the UT-Permian Basin men's soccer team. He previously played for Club America Sub-23s and in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) with Tyler FC and 

"We are looking to create more routes and opportunities for the youth in our community to continue to develop and play at higher levels to enure success at the college level or even a shot at the professional game," Dominques said. "2021 was perfect for our club to join the UPSL as we are expanding on all sides. With everything falling into place we felt now was a perfect time to five our community something to look forward to in our area."

Hector Castillo is the Team Manager and Lead Scout. Sebastian Ballesteros is the Media Director Adrienne Almodova and Maribel Almodova are the Sponsorship and Sales Managers, respectively.

The club will announce its upcoming game schedule.

WTX Arsenal SC can participate in the qualifying rounds for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through their affiliation and membership with the UPSL, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
