San Lee FC to Hold Open Tryouts in June

"Paving the Path for the Next Generation"

May 13, 2018 - Sanford, NC -  San Lee FC of the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) will hold tryouts on Monday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each night at Southern Lee High School Stadium. Registration will be held from 5:30-6:00 pm.

Tryouts are open to soccer players aged 16 years old and up who have the hopes of playing professional soccer representing Sanford, North Carolina.

Registration is $25 the night of tryouts and $20.00 in advance.

San Lee FC is a member of the Southeast Conference – Mid-Atlantic Division. This division consists of ten teams from various Southeast states.

United Premier Soccer League

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 170 teams in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 200-plus teams targeted for 2018 Spring Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated and is responsible for maintaining either UPSL Pro Premier Division or Championship Division minimum standards.

UPSL teams are all eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the leagues affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
